Stonelane Rips Rough Tank

Oct 17, 1998 - Dec 3, 2001

Cause of Death - Blood clot from minor surgery.
Tank was a wonderful dog, he will never be forgotten and will always
have a special place in our Hearts.

WE LOVE YOU TANK.

We here at Stonelane Hunter have to say goodbye to our beloved BUBBA.  Chocolate male that supplied us with many

laughs and good times.  He will be dearly missed by all of us.  Died 12/7/2010

We regret to say that we have lost another love.  HR Stonelane Hunters Weedhopper; age 12 has passed. Many laughs, lots of cookies,  and  plenty of sharing of the pillow made this dog my favorite girl.

HI Bertie,

I very much enjoyed our conversation yesterday!! Glad you called..

Today in the mail i received notice that they will be honoring "Danny" April 4th. The Central Arizona Mountain Rescue Association will be putting a bench and placard on a mountain base Danny did his first rescue on!! I have the form for the placard to fill out. And i plan on putting StoneLane Hunter Kennels on that placard as well. Because if it wasn't for you there would  have been  no Danny.. So, i do include you in the lives that Danny helped save.. Thank you Bertie!!

I would very much like another Lab from you. And i am very grateful for your discount.. I think i would go with a black male if one comes up..

Would you also have your friend Jimmy's email? So, i could talk to him about future possible transport.        Masen being  severly autistic makes traveling that far not possible for me. But, i am sure something will work out for us.. I am in no rush and late summer, fall, winter.. When ever a litter comes up you let me know..

Thank you again Bertie.. I commend you on your VERY fine Breeding!!!!

Take Good Care,

Amy Done.

In January,2006, we purchased a wonderful little black lab puppy from your kennel. He was an offspring of Cinder and Gunner. He has been an absolute delight. A very intelligent animal and just absolutely beautiful animal, even the vet comments on his posture and mentality. On June 8, 2008 he took second place in the semi-pro division of the National Dock Dog show in Nashville, Tenn. It was only his second event with him jumping 21'5". As you can probably tell we are quite proud of him and just wanted to let you know that even though we're not hunting him, he's still a champ. Thanks, Joyce Caswell and Danny Caywood

> The yellow lab puppy we bought from this kennel is very smart, it only took Lakota less than 4 weeks to be potty trained to go outside. The puppy is very healthy and does come from good stock. I am so glad we bought our puppy  from this kennel. I only have great praise about this place as to how they take care of their dogs and the way we were treated while we where there.

> Thanks for the wonderful new member to our family!

Bertie,
The pup is a saint. He is already making great headway on the potty training and has been accident free for 4 days. It took him awhile to get use to the the crate training but he is now almost sleeping through the night and is such a cuddler.
He's been to the vet twice now and the vet even told us that he was her favorite and that he is going to be a big boy. We have used all the tips you gave us and will be experimenting with the training collar in the next few weeks.
Thanks again for all your help and we will keep you updated with pictures as he continues to grow. Attached is most likely this years Christmas card as well as a picture with him and some of his toys, even though he would rather chew on our shoes and clothes :).
Hope all is well with you and that you have found homes for the rest of his litter mates!
Thanks again
Dave and Kendall
Darryl and Sheila.  Another related story, about a Wiggles pup.

This is a new story about a wiggles pup that is a search and rescue dog in Arizona.  Amy, the dogs owner, and the dog, bert, were working a brush fire with the fire department officials.  A flash flood rain came along later in the day, unbeknown to amy and the firefighters, while they were taking cover, the dog bert took off running and bailed into the wash.  Fearing for the dog, they ran to the running stream only to see that bert had an eleven year old girl by the sleeve and pulling her to the side of the bank.  No one heard the little girl screaming, except bert.  Needless to say, it took 5 firefighters to pull the girl and dog out of the wash.  Bert was only about 9 months old at the time of the rescue.  Bert made the national news and is going to receive a medal.

Later, Amy and Bert and other rescue workers were looking for campers or anyone else that might have been stranded from the fire.  When they came upon an injured young deer.  Amy told Bert to get the baby, Bert went into the smoldering brush, grabbed the deer, and pulled it out far enough for the rescue people to be able to get to it.  Bert is soon to appear in some local firefighter magazines.

Another Wiggles pup, out of this same litter, at six months of age, is already performing on hand signals.

Dec 1, 2010; Bert has saved 8 human lives to date along with 7 animals.  By Dec 15th, Bert will be honored in New York NY. at central park east, with 2 articles to appear in national magazines this spring.

A recent letter received from Scott Koukola, talking about his Bosco X Tasha pup.  Scott writes; I picked up Rosco around Jan 22, 2010...He has been a wonderful family companion as well as a working dog.  Being both is always a challenge because he has to differentiate between play and work time.  He has more than lived up to these expectations and exceeded them. He is currently doing multiple retrieves on land and water, and getting ready to start blind retrieves.  He is very smart and learns quickly.  Thanks Scott.
